Kenta, a young piano artist recently out of a job, meets Yamaki at a bar who invites him to a strange room unlike any other place on Earth, claiming it to be a new job opportunity. This place is called the "Heavenly Bookstore". One day, Kenta meets Shoko, a talented pianist and Kenta's idol, who has lost her hearing due to an accident.
