Tháng Tư Là Lời Nói Dối Của Em: Arima Kosei, a piano prodigy, struggles with the trauma of his mother's death which has left him unable to hear any sound while playing the piano. He believes he will never be able to play again until he meets Miyazono Kawori. Kawori is a free-spirited and talented violinist who helps pull Kosei out of his shell and back into the world of music. Through Kawori's guidance, Kosei is able to find his love for music once again and begins to regain his confidence in his abilities. As they grow closer, Kosei starts to fall in love with Kawori, who is battling a terminal illness. Despite knowing the pain that lies ahead, Kosei decides to keep playing the piano to show his love and support for Kawori. With Kawori's unwavering support, Kosei is able to overcome his fears and perform at a prestigious competition. Although Kawori's time is running out, she encourages Kosei to continue playing and following his dreams. In the end, Kosei is able to find closure and acceptance in Kawori's passing, knowing that her spirit will always be with him through the music they shared. This emotional jouey teaches Kosei the power of love, loss, and the healing nature of music. It shows that even in the darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope and beauty to be found.
