Sinh Thời: Living is a movie that tells the story of Kao Jia Yue, who unexpectedly retus home after many years, only to be met with unease and discomfort from those around him. Many people are unsure of how to handle his retu and hope that he will leave soon. However, his grandson, Cheng Yu, is the only one who sees something different in Jia Yue, as he notices that Jia Yue is unlike the other adults. Jia Yue soon realizes that everyone, including himself, is struggling with various challenges in life. His parents have an unhappy marriage, his second brother feels like he doesn't belong in the family, and his third brother is uncertain about his future. Despite their struggles, they continue to persevere and move forward in life. Witnessing everyone working hard to survive, Jia Yue starts making plans for his own future. However, tragedy strikes when his second brother, Jia Yang, passes away in an accident. This loss forces Jia Yue to reflect on the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones.
