Căn Phòng Số 1408: Mike Enslin, a famous writer specializing in horror stories, has never been afraid of ghosts. Whenever he hears about a haunted place, he goes there to spend a night and then writes about it. One day, he finds an old postcard from the Dolphin Hotel in New York with a waing not to enter room 1408. Thinking it's just a marketing gimmick, Enslin checks into the hotel and specifically requests room 1408 despite the hotel manager, Gerald Olin, trying to dissuade him by showing him images of previous guests who met tragic fates in that room. Determined to prove the supeatural wrong, Enslin enters room 1408 only to be confronted with a series of terrifying and inexplicable events. He experiences extreme heat, freezing cold, hallucinations, and visions of his deceased daughter who tragically passed away in a drowning accident. As the night progresses, Enslin realizes that the room is not haunted by ordinary ghosts but by an evil force that preys on his deepest fears and regrets. Desperate to escape, Enslin tries everything to leave the room, but it seems that room 1408 has a will of its own and won't let him go. In a final act of defiance, Enslin bus the room to the ground, sacrificing himself in the process to destroy the malevolent spirit once and for all. In the end, it is revealed that Olin knew about the room's dark history and had been trying to wa people away from it to protect them. Enslin's sacrifice ultimately frees the room from its curse, but not without leaving a lasting impact on those who dare to enter its doors. The experience changes Enslin forever, showing him that some horrors are better left unexplored.
